Lockpicking requires both skill and experience with different lock levels. As players progress, they can attempt to unlock more secure chests.

1. Select the Chest: Approach the locked chest and use lockpicks on it to start the process. 2. Complete the Puzzle: A puzzle window will appear where you must solve a combination puzzle to unlock the chest.

• Puzzle Details:
  1. You have 6 attempts to solve the puzzle by directing chains in the correct sequence.
  2. Color indicators will help you:
     1. Blue — This number is part of the combination.
     2. Red — This number is not part of the combination.
     3. Grey — This number is correct and in the proper position.
  3. Failure to solve the puzzle within 6 attempts will reset the chest.

3. Remove Trap (if applicable): If the chest is trapped, a new window will open displaying your Remove Trap skill level, and you will have the option to disarm the trap.

• Trap Removal Attempts: You have 3 attempts to disable the trap. A failed attempt triggers the trap, while success unlocks the chest for looting.

For those who reach 100.0 Lockpicking skill, the rare and elusive Mastercrafted Puzzle Chests offer a greater challenge and significantly higher rewards.

• Location: Found in the deepest dungeons or secret locations, these chests are rarer and much harder to unlock.
• Risk: Failing to unlock a Mastercrafted Puzzle Chest may cause it to explode and prevent further attempts.
• Rewards: High-tier loot, rare treasures, and special items await those skilled enough to open these formidable chests.
