Monthly Challenge has arrived. This is a simple, season-style track that runs for the current calendar month. Earn Monthly XP by just playing, unlock up to 12 rewards, and claim them on any of your characters. On the 1st of the next month, the track resets and a new set of rewards appears.

Either option opens the Monthly Challenge window.

• Play normally to earn Monthly XP.
• Hit XP milestones (gates) to unlock rewards in order.
• 12 gates total; the final gate is at 120,000 XP (also the monthly XP cap).
• On the next month’s first day the track resets with a fresh reward lineup.

You gain XP from everyday gameplay:

• Slaying monsters: normal kills grants points(based on fame).
• Paragons & bosses: paragons add a bonus; Rift bosses and peerless bosses grant extra chunks.
• Treasure content:
  • Treasure Maps: scale by map level.
  • SOS chests: normal ≈ 25 XP, Ancient SOS ≈ 350 XP.
• Harvesting: small trickle per gather; daily cap ≈ 2,000 XP per account.
• Crafting: small trickle per craft; daily cap ≈ 1,500 XP per account.

There’s a tiny per-account rate limit on harvesting to prevent spam; play normally and you won’t notice it.

• The track has 12 gates (milestones).
• Your total Monthly XP unlocks them in order.
• The final gate is at 120,000 XP. This is also the monthly XP cap.
• Rewards are once per track (one claim per reward per account per month).

• Open the window ([Monthly or the Monthly Challenge button).
• Unlocked rewards show as Unlocked.
• Click an unlocked reward to claim, or press Collect Rewards to grab all currently unlocked, unclaimed items.
• Make sure you have backpack space; if a claim fails due to space, just free space and try again.

• Progress and unlocks are account-wide (one shared track per account).
• Any character can earn XP; any one of your characters can claim each reward (the item goes to the claimer).
• If we ever switch to a per-character mode, the UI text/announcement will say so; otherwise assume account-wide.

• When: 00:00 UTC on the first day of the month.
• What resets: Your Monthly XP and claim states.
• What changes: The reward lineup rotates to the new month.
• If you’re online across rollover, the reset applies the next time you open the window or earn XP.

Don’t want the little “+XP” messages?

• Use the toggle button in the Monthly Challenge window to turn the pop-ups ON/OFF for your account.
• If a separate in-game command is announced, you can use that as well.

• Play your way: hunting, bossing, mapping, fishing, gathering, crafting — it all counts.
• Don’t sweat the caps: only harvesting and crafting have daily caps; kills and treasure keep flowing.
• Finish line: hit 120k XP, collect anything left, and relax until the next month.
• Have fun: look out for monthly cosmetics, dyes, transmogs, titles, and utility goodies.
