A Golden Orc appears when one of these rare prizes is discovered.
Rare collectible wins are announced across the shard.
Texas Hold'em has been extensively rebuilt for Enigma with a completely new multiplayer table and interface.
| FEATURE | DETAILS |
|---|---|
| Players | Up to 10 |
| Game | Texas Hold'em |
| Community Cards | Flop • Turn • River |
| Banking | Enigma Gold Balance |
Every occupied seat has its own position, cards and chip stack around the table.
Your hole cards remain private while opponents display card backs until their hands are meant to be revealed.
The Flop reveals the first three community cards, followed by the Turn and finally the River.
Folded hands stay hidden.
Players who remain in the hand reveal their cards at showdown, with the final cards remaining visible briefly before the next hand begins.
Poker balances remain available between games, making Poker a permanent Enigma activity rather than a one-session minigame.
Only one character per account may occupy a Poker table at a time.
Walking away or disconnecting removes you cleanly from active play rather than leaving the table permanently occupied.
Build and maintain your own 8-slot Clam Pond at home.
Each clam develops individually while the pond itself has its own water quality, health and condition.
| POND | DETAILS |
|---|---|
| Capacity | 8 Clams |
| Feeding | Plankton |
| Water | Fresh Water Pitchers |
| Main Rewards | Clams • Pearls • Rare Decorations |
Individual clams can progress through:
Knowing when to harvest matters.
Ready clams can be extracted individually, or all mature clams can be collected together.
The pond can also be inspected for feedback about the clams currently growing inside it.
Water quality can become:
The overall pond can become:
Maintaining a pond requires Plankton, fresh water and regular care.
Changing the water too early can disturb the pond, while poor conditions can allow sickness to spread between clams. Severe neglect can eventually collapse the entire pond.
The pond interface changes visually as its condition worsens, making sick, neglected and collapsed ponds easy to recognize.
Both Regular Clams and rarer Ember Clams are part of the expanded clam and pearl ecosystem.
Regular Clams can contain pearls, while Ember Clams are especially valuable to collectors hunting Red and Orange Pearls.
Harvested clams must be opened with a blade.
| White | Black | Grey |
| Red | Green | Blue |
| Yellow | Purple | Pink |
| Orange | Brown | Silver |
| Golden |
Each pearl color has its own rarity, making a complete collection a long-term goal.
Luck can also influence some rewards discovered through a Clam Pond.
Clam Ponds can occasionally produce decorative treasures including:
Smaller shell and pebble decorations can also occasionally appear.
Rare pond decorations carry the property:
Retrieved from a Clam Pond
The pond interface also indicates when a special rare find is waiting to be collected.
Clam Ponds follow normal house access rules and can be safely redeeded without losing the clams and progress stored within them.
Grow an expanded collection of vegetables, flowers and edible produce directly at home.
| CROPS | CROPS |
|---|---|
| Artichoke | Sweet Potato |
| Aubergine | Radish |
| Green Bean | Onion |
| Cucumber | Spinach |
| Marigold | Cauliflower |
| Tomato | Kale |
Planters are more than simple harvest containers. Crops grow over time and need proper care.
Players will manage:
Harvested produce is fully edible and restores hunger like normal food, while also feeding directly into the expanded Garden Cooking system.
Planters can be safely redeeded while preserving the crop growing inside them.
Seed Bags provide another source of Farming supplies.
They can also be discovered as drops from selected creatures throughout the world.
Maintain your own Beehives, care for their health and harvest useful materials from growing Hive Frames.
| HIVE FEATURE | DETAILS |
|---|---|
| Beehives | Placeable home Beehive addons |
| Hive Frames | Fill over time and become harvestable |
| Sugar Water | Used while maintaining the hive |
| Hive Health | Poor care can lead to infestation and stress |
| Beekeeper | Dedicated vendor support |
| Rare Finds | Special hive rewards can occasionally appear |
Harvestable Hive Frames visibly change when they are ready.
Beehives can also produce rare rewards alongside their normal harvests.
A dedicated Beekeeper sells useful supplies and trades in Honey and Beeswax.
Beehives can be safely redeeded while preserving their current hive state.
Home-grown produce, Honey and new preserving ingredients are being expanded into a large collection of Cooking recipes.
Honey becomes a much more useful Cooking ingredient, replacing ordinary sugar in many of the new recipes.
Vinegar is also being introduced for pickling and preserving.
Many of the new foods use custom artwork and ingredient-matched colors, including new pies, soups, stews, preserves and pickle jars.
Cooking and Beekeeping also open two new cosmetic pigment collections.
Culinary Pigments are special colors for pets:
Pastry Pigments are special colors for cloth:
These pigments create another collectible and cosmetic reward path tied to the new home-profession content.
Pearls harvested from Clams can be refined through Alchemy into colored Pearl Enamels.
| ENAMEL | CAN BE USED ON |
|---|---|
| Equipment Enamel | Weapons, Armor, Shields, Spellbooks & Equipment |
| Cloth Enamel | Clothing |
| Pet Enamel | Pets |
| Furniture Enamel | Furniture |
| Skin Enamel | Characters |
All 13 pearl colors have their own matching Enamel hue.
Players choose the pearl color they want while crafting, and the finished Enamel retains that color.
Furniture Enamel colors the entire addon, allowing multi-tile furniture to receive a complete matching finish when used in a house you can modify.
Skin Enamel applies the selected pearl color directly to your character.
Pearl Enameling gives rare pearls a permanent cosmetic purpose beyond simply collecting them.
Bards are receiving a major expansion with new instrument qualities, 15 special properties and much stronger high-end progression.
Normal • Exceptional • Tuned • Harmonic • Virtuoso • Mastercrafted
Looted instruments can appear in several different looks and may roll their own quality, Slayer, hue, generated name and up to two special properties.
Existing Exceptional, Slayer, double-Slayer and legacy Mastercrafted instruments remain part of the system.
| Quickstep | Discordant Echo |
| Encore | Warlord's Beat |
| Carrying Tone | Echo Chamber |
| Wide Chorus | Cursed Notes |
| Perfect Pitch | Bloodfeud |
| Steadfast Grip | Siren's Call |
| Practiced Ear | Still Waters |
| Extended Hold |
These properties can change the way Bard abilities behave and allow instruments to develop very different playstyles.
Depending on the instrument, they can provide things such as:
Multiple properties can activate together, allowing particularly valuable instruments to create powerful combinations.
Instruments gain their own Gear Power from quality, special properties and matching Slayers.
Powerful creatures also gain varying levels of Music Resistance, giving high-end instruments a much more important role against difficult enemies.
The toughest bosses resist normal Peacemaking and Provocation, while properly prepared master Bards gain access to Apex Peacemaking for endgame targets.
The overhaul also introduces and expands features such as:
Harps are also becoming substantially lighter, dropping to 5 stones.
Lockpicking is being transformed into a proper treasure-hunting activity rather than a single skill check.
Chests can contain between 5 and 8 lock pins, which must be worked through using a dedicated Lockpicking interface.
Players can see their current progress and success chance while working the lock, and difficult attempts can still break lockpicks.
| LOCKPICK MATERIAL | |
|---|---|
| Iron | Copper |
| Bronze | Shadow Iron |
| Gold | Moonstone |
| Obsidian | Valorite |
| Silver |
Different materials provide different advantages and give experienced treasure hunters reasons to prepare specialized tools.
Gold Lockpicks can reward a clean opening with additional gold.
Valorite Lockpicks work faster and provide stronger Remove Trap performance.
Successfully opening the lock does not guarantee that the treasure is safe.
Remove Trap now has its own interactive interface showing the trap, your chance of success and your remaining attempts.
Players can gain Remove Trap skill while dealing with trapped treasure.
If you do not want to risk another disarm attempt, there is also a Force Open option — with the full consequences of whatever trap remains inside.
Not every failed disarm is equally severe. Some failures trigger a reduced version of the trap, while a major failure can unleash its full effect.
Trap failures can cause effects such as:
Creature-spawning traps have been removed from the new system.
The most dangerous loot-destruction traps are reserved for eligible Enigma Chests. Normal Treasure and Paragon Chests do not receive these treasure-destroying traps.
The standard Treasure Map Chest system remains separate from the new Enigma Lockpicking system.
Bandages used to successfully cure a poisoned pet now also restore some health at the same time, making successful Veterinary cures feel more rewarding.
Enter fast competitive matches through the new Enigma Arcade, supporting matches of up to 14 players.
| GAME MODE | OBJECTIVE |
|---|---|
| Free For All | Every player for themselves |
| Last Team Standing | Eliminate the opposing team |
| King of the Hill | Control the central objective |
| Infection | Survive or spread the infection |
The Arcade launches with three dedicated arenas.
Players can create and join lobbies while several queues wait for available arenas at the same time. If every arena is occupied, waiting lobbies begin automatically when one becomes free.
Every player is an enemy.
Fight, respawn and earn kills until the match reaches its conclusion.
Balanced Blue and Red teams fight through a best-of-three battle.
There are no normal respawns during a round. The last surviving team wins.
Fight for control of the central altar and its capture zone.
Hold the objective against the opposing players to secure the match.
Players are divided between Survivors and the Infected.
The infection spreads as Survivors are defeated.
Special Infection mechanics include:
If the final Infected player disconnects or forfeits, the infection passes to another Survivor so the game can continue.
The Infected win when no Survivors remain. The Survivors win if they can hold out until the match timer expires.
Free For All, Last Team Standing and King of the Hill use your normal equipment and backpack.
Normal combat resources matter during these modes:
Infection works differently and provides its own standardized Arcade equipment.
Arcade combat uses simulated defeats rather than normal player deaths and corpses.
Some normal-world abilities are restricted so matches remain focused on direct competition.
Inside the Arcade:
Your own backpack, nested containers and equipment remain usable in the normal gear modes.
Guildmates are still treated according to the Arcade teams and rules, so being guilded does not protect an opponent from becoming your Arcade enemy.
Players can queue through Arcade Stones or:
[ArcadeJoin
Arcade entry must begin from a guarded area or player house.
Players cannot use the Arcade to escape dangerous situations.
You cannot join while:
When an Arcade match ends, your character is returned to their original location and restored to their pre-match state.
Infection inventory and equipment are also returned to normal when the match is over.
Inactive players receive an AFK warning after 45 seconds and can forfeit after 60 seconds without activity.
Disconnecting during an active match also counts as a forfeit.
Matches continue for the remaining players rather than becoming stuck.
Arcade matches contribute toward monthly rankings.
Players compete for:
The leaderboard resets each month for a new competition.
Felucca's oceans are becoming significantly more dangerous, unpredictable and alive.
| OCEAN SYSTEM | DETAILS |
|---|---|
| Ocean Zones | 19 |
| Dynamic Encounter Locations | 79 |
| Facet | Felucca |
Dangerous encounters can appear dynamically throughout valid open water instead of permanently occupying the same handful of locations.
Ships arrive with hostile crews ready to defend them.
Naga Sea Shrines and Orc Sea Forts can appear in different variants, creating more variety while exploring the oceans.
Encounters are spread throughout different parts of Felucca's oceans.
Once an encounter has been defeated, it begins sinking or disappearing from the world.
Defeated encounter locations then enter a 30-minute cooldown before the ocean system can replace them.
New threats can later emerge elsewhere across the sea.
The goal is to make sailing itself an activity where players never know exactly what they may encounter over the horizon.
Fishing is receiving one of its largest expansions yet, tying together treasure maps, Fishing BODs, Special Fishing Nets, MIBs, SOS encounters, new hooks and the growing ocean ecosystem.
Clams are not limited to home Clam Ponds.
Fishermen can occasionally pull Regular Clams directly from the water, with much rarer Ember Clams waiting among the catches.
Ember Clams are especially valuable to players hunting Red and Orange Pearls.
Treasure Maps fished from the sea can now range from Level 1 through Level 6 instead of always being the lowest level.
Sea Serpents carrying those maps become stronger as the treasure level rises, with higher-level maps increasingly guarded by Deep Sea Serpents.
Their appearance and naming also reflect the strength of the treasure they carry, and treasure-bearing serpents can still become Stormborn.
Classic Special Fishing Nets remain the normal net experience, including their familiar sea-monster encounters and unusual-hue behavior.
Some Special Fishing Nets can now instead become Affinity Nets, each themed around a different part of the Fishing ecosystem.
Affinity types include:
| Red Scale | Blue Scale |
| Deepwater | Shallow Water |
| Coral | Stoneskin |
| Exotic | Shellfish |
Affinity Nets summon themed 4–6 creature encounters rather than the normal mixed net encounter.
Defeating the encounter reveals a Fishing Cache containing matching bait and a chance at affinity-related hooks, Message in a Bottle rewards and even a Fabled Fishing Net.
Existing Special Fishing Nets from before the update are also given a one-time opportunity to become an Affinity Net. Nets that remain classic keep their existing appearance.
Fabled Fishing Nets remain separate from the Affinity system.
Throwing one can call forth either:
Both bosses have expanded combat abilities and arrive alongside the classic Special Fishing Net entourage.
Defeating either boss awards a protected Rare-or-better Message in a Bottle.
These boss MIBs can roll:
They will never downgrade into Common or Uncommon bottles later.
A Message in a Bottle now keeps the tier it originally rolled instead of changing when opened later.
That quality remains with the bottle through trading and banking before becoming its matching SOS.
Ordinary MIBs still follow the normal Fishing-skill rules, while boss MIBs keep their guaranteed Rare-or-better quality.
SOS guardian encounters have also been improved so their guardians and reward chest remain tied to the actual SOS location until the encounter is resolved.
18 Deep Water fish are joining Fishing Bulk Order Deeds.
| Haddock | Shad |
| Cape Cod | Yellowfin Tuna |
| Black Seabass | Bonito |
| Tarpon | Blue Fish |
| Red Snook | Red Grouper |
| Gray Snapper | Captain Snook |
| Cobia | Bonefish |
| Mahi Mahi | Red Drum |
| Amberjack | Blue Grouper |
Fishing contracts now have a clearer difficulty progression.
Beginner contracts continue to use ordinary Fish and other accessible catches.
Intermediate contracts include shellfish and crabs.
Difficult contracts include catches such as Sharks, Giant Squid and Rays.
Common catches can require larger quantities, while rare and difficult catches require fewer fish to complete the order.
Affinity fish remain outside normal Fishing BOD generation for now.
Fishing BOD rewards are also being expanded with a wider selection of bait and hooks, including Shellfish bait and more support for Bone, Coral, Iron and Daemon Bone hooks.
Fishing Pole information is being cleaned up so remaining bait and hook uses are easier to understand at a glance.
Special catches now interact properly with the same Fishing resources as ordinary casts, so bait, hooks and equipment all matter consistently across the expanded system.
Dynamic Fishing Spots are also receiving improvements.
FishingSpot3 now works as a true 15-cast fishing location, with actual fishing casts consuming its available attempts rather than interacting with nearby wreckage.
Dynamic fishing spots now keep their proper remaining lifetime instead of unexpectedly refreshing.
Dungeon of the Week is receiving a full shared Tier Progression system.
Every player adventuring inside the active weekly dungeon contributes toward advancing it.
| PROGRESSION | EFFECT |
|---|---|
| Tier I | Weekly Dungeon begins |
| Tier II | Stronger bonuses + Dungeon Blessing |
| Tier III | Further increased bonuses |
| Tier IV | Maximum weekly progression |
Players can follow the current dungeon, tier and progress through:
[DOTW
As the weekly dungeon advances, players receive increasing:
The more the shard participates in the weekly dungeon, the stronger its bonuses become.
Reaching Tier II awakens the Dungeon of the Week altar.
The active altar becomes visibly marked with magical effects.
Each dungeon provides its own unique 1-hour blessing.
| DUNGEON | BLESSING |
|---|---|
| Decay | Health Regeneration |
| Ash | Stamina Regeneration |
| Famine | Mana Regeneration |
| Permafrost | Strength |
| Festerhives | All Resistances |
| Obscure | Intelligence |
| Torment | Dexterity |
The altar remains available throughout Tier III and Tier IV.
Active blessings display a normal buff icon and their remaining duration.
When your blessing expires, leave the altar area and return to receive it again.
The blessing always belongs to the currently active Dungeon of the Week, so a new weekly dungeon brings a new altar and blessing.
Ship painting is being improved so the selected hue carries across much more of the vessel.
Ship colors now extend to:
Both normal and Basic Ship Paint benefit from the expanded coloring.
Nautical Tracking has also been cleaned up so its different sea categories provide clearer and more appropriate results for ships, sea forts, ruins and Fishing-related searches.
Creatures that decide to flee combat are being slowed down.
Fleeing monsters should feel considerably more natural instead of suddenly accelerating into extreme movement speeds while attempting to escape.
The larger systems are arriving alongside many smaller improvements throughout Enigma.
Players can also expect continued work on:
These updates represent a large collection of permanent new activities and expansions being added throughout the shard.
From your home and crafting bench to dungeons, treasure chests, PvP arenas and the open sea, the goal is to give players more things worth doing throughout every part of Enigma.
More will be revealed as each piece of content gets closer to release.
