UO Enigma Poker System

The UO Enigma Poker System brings fully playable Texas Holdem to Enigma.

Players can sit down at a poker table, buy in using their Virtual Gold, and play against other players in complete hands of Texas Holdem.

Poker tables support up to 10 players and include blinds, betting rounds, community cards, side pots, all-ins, showdowns, and automatic payouts.

How It Works

* Find an active Poker Dealer and double-click them to join the table * Choose how much Virtual Gold you want to bring to the table * Your buy-in is withdrawn directly from your Virtual Gold balance * Once enough players are seated, the next hand begins automatically * Each player receives 2 private cards * Five community cards are gradually revealed in the center of the table * Players may Check, Call, Raise, Fold, or go All-In * The player with the strongest hand at showdown wins the pot

Virtual Gold

Poker uses the same Virtual Gold system used throughout UO Enigma.

No physical gold or bank checks are required.

When joining a table, your chosen buy-in is transferred from your Virtual Gold balance to your poker stack.

When you leave the table, your remaining poker stack is returned to your Virtual Gold balance.

The Poker Table

The poker table shows all players currently seated around the table.

Each occupied seat displays:

* The player's name * Two private cards * The player's current table status

You can always see your own two cards.

The cards belonging to other players remain face-down until they are revealed at showdown.

Empty seats remain hidden until another player joins the table.

Community Cards

Texas Holdem uses five community cards shared by every player at the table.

They are revealed in stages:

* The Flop: 3 community cards are revealed * The Turn: 1 additional card is revealed * The River: The final community card is revealed

Before a community card is dealt, no card is displayed in that position.

At showdown, all remaining players reveal their hands.

Players who have folded keep their cards hidden.

Player Actions

During your turn, the available poker actions will appear in the action window.

Depending on the current bet, you may be able to:

* Check: Stay in the hand without adding more gold * Call: Match the current bet * Raise: Increase the current bet * Fold: Leave the current hand and surrender any gold already committed to the pot * All-In: Bet your entire remaining poker stack

The available actions depend on the current state of the hand.

Blinds

Each hand begins with two forced bets:

* Small Blind * Big Blind

The blind positions rotate around the table between hands.

Blinds ensure that every hand begins with gold in the pot and encourage active play.

All-Ins & Side Pots

Players may go All-In if they wish to bet their entire remaining stack.

If players have different amounts of gold available, the poker system automatically creates the required Main Pot and Side Pots.

Each player can only win the portion of the pot they were eligible to compete for.

Winning a Hand

A hand can end in two ways.

Everyone Else Folds

If every other player folds, the remaining player immediately wins the pot.

Showdown

If multiple players remain after the River, their cards are revealed and the strongest Texas Holdem hand wins.

If two or more players have equally strong hands, the pot is divided between them.

Poker Hands

Poker hands are ranked from strongest to weakest:

* Royal Flush * Straight Flush * Four of a Kind * Full House * Flush * Straight * Three of a Kind * Two Pair * One Pair * High Card

Your final hand is made from the best possible 5-card combination using your two private cards and the five community cards.

Leaving the Table

You may leave the poker table when you are finished playing.

Your remaining poker stack will be returned to your Virtual Gold balance.

If you leave during an active hand:

* Your current hand is folded * Gold already committed to the current pot remains in the pot * Your remaining poker stack is safely returned after the hand has finished resolving

Walking away from your assigned poker seat will also remove you from the table.

Disconnects & Restarts

The Poker System includes protection for unexpected disconnects and server restarts.

* Disconnecting during a hand automatically folds your hand * Your remaining poker balance is protected * Active poker balances are preserved during server saves * Interrupted games are safely refunded after a restart * Players are returned from their poker seat when appropriate

This prevents players from becoming stuck at the table or losing their remaining poker balance because of an unexpected interruption.

Fair Play

All cards, betting calculations, pots, side pots, and payouts are handled by the server.

Players cannot see another player's private cards before they are legitimately revealed.

Closing or reopening the poker interface does not change the state of the hand or allow actions to be repeated.
