Cannons & Ammo

Ships support mounted cannons with:

• hardpoint placement validation
• maximum cannon caps
• ammo types (standard + special)

Ships define cannon locations (hardpoints). A ship enforces:

• CurrentMaxCannons
• placement allowed only at valid cannon locations

Ammo bundles and special cannonballs exist in the expansion:

• Standard cannonballs (bundle)
• Heavy cannonballs (bundle)
• Fire cannonballs (bundle)
• Frost cannonballs (bundle)
• Charged cannonballs
• Poison cannonballs

Cannon targeting and impact handling is implemented by the cannon system and can interact with:

• other ships
• mobiles
• attackable fixtures (items designed to take damage)
