Latest UO Enigma update notes
This update adds new progression systems, new encounters, new rewards, quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, crafting updates, and housing additions.
Added the Treasure Hunter's Codex, a new long-term progression system for treasure hunters.
The Codex tracks your treasure-hunting journey across maps, guardians, relic fragments, relic hunts, and rank rewards.
The Treasure Hunter's Codex includes:
Players can receive their Codex from the Treasure Codex Keeper.
The Codex is:
Added a new Relic Hunt system connected to the Treasure Hunter's Codex.
Players can collect relic fragments and use them to create special relic maps.
New relic map types:
Relic maps open timed encounters in secluded relic sites.

Relic maps have limited attempts and are consumed on victory or failure.
Added new relic chest rewards:
Relic chests include guaranteed reward pools and may contain:
Relic chests are reward containers only. The chest itself cannot be moved or used as storage.
Added a new cave area and the Eruption mini-game.
The Eruption is a beacon-defense encounter where waves of dragonkin and volcanic creatures assault an active beacon.
The Eruption includes:
Players must defend the beacon from waves of creatures. If too many enemies reach the beacon, the event fails.
Added new Eruption-themed mobiles, including volcanic reptiles, drakes, dragons, and ancient dragonkin.
These creatures are used in the Eruption mini-game and scale by wave difficulty.
Added a new tamable creature:
Pyre Mane
Added 9 new houses to the house placement tool.
These new houses expand custom housing options and are available through the house placement system.
Added the Cauldron of Transmutation to the Alchemy tiered reward path.
The Cauldron allows material transmutation and is intended as a special progression reward.
Added new Consecration Serums.
These serums allow players to convert part of a weapon's physical damage into an elemental damage type.
New serum types:
Each serum converts 10% physical weapon damage into one elemental type.
Consecration Serums cannot be used on artifacts.
Added the Master Bowyer Talisman.
Significantly increased the power of Runic Tools.
Updated the Recipe Book system.

Fixed an issue with Enhancement Deeds.
Lining Kits now only require one of the following Grandmaster skills:
Added Filth region exclusions to monthly challenge systems.
Filth exclusions now apply to:
This prevents excluded Filth-region activity from contributing to those monthly systems.
Adjusted Quicksilver scaling and duration.
Fixed Hellfire splash targeting and fire damage.
Reworked Hellfire ground burn so it now uses temporary effects instead of persistent fire items.
Fixed Freeze damage type so it properly uses cold damage.
Fixed Soul Maelstrom targeting, damage attribution, and effect handling.
Updated Necrotic Fog poison scaling by rune level.
Fixed Armor Pierce so it now uses normal damage handling instead of direct hit subtraction.
Added an optional login clamp so players above the new HitsMax cap are reduced to the correct value on login.
No serialization changes were required.
Updated the Dragon fireball effect ID.
Vendor rental contracts are now rent-free.
Saved old rental prices are ignored when existing contracts load.
Updated the Salvage Bag.
