Blacksmithing Weapon Enhancements are in addition to the material bonuses listed above and are only applied through enhancing..
There is a risk of permanently destroying the item when enhancing. The more powerful items run a higher risk of destruction.

Enhancement Deeds
Players can create an Enhancement Deed by targeting a blank scroll while a special resource type is selected.
Creating a deed consumes 50 units of that resource.
The deed records the crafter’s skill level and resource type at creation.
When used, enhancement chances exactly match direct enhancement by the crafter.
If a Forged Metal of Artifacts is used, one charge may be transferred to the deed.
A charged deed guarantees maximum intensity with no chance of failure.
Lining Kits and Underlayments
Lining Kits can be obtained as a high end BOD reward
A Lining Kit requires 50 colored Ingots and 10 Mastercraft Blueprints to complete
Once complete, the Lining Kit becomes an Underlayment.
Underlayments can be applied to leather and metal armor that has not already been enhanced.
The Underlayment bonus is not additional to material bonuses.
Underlayments will not increase a resistance past 30.

Consecration Serum
Consecration Serum is a high-tier Alchemy BOD reward. It can be used on any non-artifact weapon to convert 10% physical damage to elemental damage. This can be done until the weapon no longer has physical damage to convert. The effects are permanent.
