Located at 2330, 1380 in Duskreach, the Merchant’s Guild serves as the central hub for Enigma’s craftsmen.

To join, speak with the Merchant Guildmaster. Once enrolled, members may collect Merchant Bulk Order Deeds for eligible crafting professions, earn standing with the Guild, collect profession reward points, and unlock increasingly valuable commissions.

Members progress through the following ranks:

* Novice * Apprentice * Journeyman * Master * Grandmaster

Your standing increases by successfully completing Merchant BODs.

As your rank improves, the Guild is more likely to offer difficult and prestigious commissions with stronger rewards.

Merchant Bulk Order Deeds, commonly called BODs, are crafting commissions issued by the Merchant Guildmaster.

After reaching the required skill level, you may request BODs for the following professions:

* Blacksmithing * Tailoring * Alchemy * Inscription * Tinkering * Carpentry * Cooking * Fletching

Each profession has its own normal BOD availability and cooldown.

Successfully turning in a completed BOD resets the request cooldown for that profession, allowing active craftsmen to continue working for the Guild.

Merchant BODs are character-bound and cannot be traded to other players.

Every Merchant BOD has an Appraisal representing the overall value and difficulty of the commission.

Appraisals range through:

* Routine * Fine * Notable * Valuable * Superior * Prestigious * Prized

The appraisal takes into account factors such as the item requested, quantity, quality requirements, material requirements, and the overall cost of completing the order.

Higher-appraisal BODs generally provide stronger rewards.

The Merchant BOD Binder is a character-bound ledger used to organize Merchant Bulk Order Deeds.

Double-clicking an unbound Binder will permanently bind it to that character.

Only one Merchant BOD Binder may be tied to a character at a time.

When a bound Binder is carried in your backpack:

* Newly received Merchant BODs are automatically filed into the Binder. * BODs are accessed through the Binder's own interface. * Individual BODs may be withdrawn whenever you wish. * Withdrawn BODs may be placed back into the Binder. * The Binder does not function as a normal container and cannot be managed with container organizers.

The Binder also provides a small pool of shared additional BOD slots.

These additional slots may be used by any profession. This means a craftsman may hold several commissions for the same profession instead of being limited strictly to one of each.

The additional slots are shared across all professions.

Completed BODs continue to occupy their slot until they are handed in.

Moving or withdrawing a BOD does not free its slot.

If your character loses a bound Merchant BOD Binder, contact staff for assistance. A replacement Binder cannot simply be bound while the previous Binder remains registered to that character.

Merchant BODs may be abandoned if you do not wish to complete them.

Abandoning an order:

* Does not reduce your Merchant Guild standing. * Does not reset the normal request cooldown. * Frees the BOD slot occupied by that order.

This allows unwanted commissions to be discarded without permanently punishing your Guild progression, while preventing abandoned orders from being repeatedly rerolled.

Craft the requested items and add them to the BOD until the commission is complete.

The deed will display information such as:

* Profession * Requested item * Required quantity * Current progress * Required quality * Required material * Guild appraisal * Material reimbursement

Once complete, return the deed to the Merchant Guildmaster.

Completed BODs remain valid until they are handed in.

Every completed Merchant BOD awards a reward from its corresponding tier.

Higher-tier BODs may also provide additional rewards from lower tiers. Crafting Skill Scrolls and material reimbursement are separate bonuses and do not replace the normal tier reward.

* Metal Armor Dye - Blacksmithing reward. Dyes metal armor. * Leather Armor Dye - Tailoring reward. Dyes leather armor. * Merchant Reward Cloth - Tailoring reward cloth using the new Merchant hue collection. * Hair Dye - Alchemy reward. * Spellbook Dye - Inscription reward. * Spell Hue Scroll - Inscription reward. * Pet Dye - Cooking reward. * Ethereal Dye - Rare Tier 7 reward capable of recoloring ethereal mounts.

In addition to the reward shown in the tier tables, completed Merchant BODs also provide:

* Gold * Merchant Guild standing * Profession reward points * Material reimbursement based on the value of the commission * A chance at a profession-specific Crafting Skill Scroll on more valuable commissions * Additional lower-tier rewards may be included with valuable BODs

Material reimbursement returns a portion of the materials invested into the commission and attempts to return the same material type used, including special ingots, leather and wood.

Crafting Skill Scrolls provide permanent progression for crafting professions.

Merchant BODs may occasionally award an additional Crafting Skill Scroll appropriate to the completed profession.

Crafting Skill Scrolls may also appear among Merchant profession vendor rewards.

Available Merchant crafting scrolls include:

* Blacksmithing * Tailoring * Carpentry * Fletching * Tinkering * Alchemy * Inscription * Cooking

Advancing to a new Merchant Guild rank awards an additional Merchant Rank-Up Satchel.

These rewards are based on the profession whose BOD caused the promotion and may contain:

* Profession-related crafting materials. * A profession-related Crafting Skill Scroll. * Additional Merchant rewards at higher Guild ranks.

This means rank progression provides rewards relevant to the type of crafting you were actively performing.

Completing a BOD also awards points for its associated Merchant profession.

These points may be spent at the corresponding Merchant Guild reward vendor.

More demanding commissions provide greater progression toward vendor rewards.

Carpentry, Bowcraft, and Fletching share the same Merchant reward vendor and reward-point pool.

Note: The Runic Blacksmithing Tool was removed from this vendor.

For a fee, the Runic Reforger may randomly enhance certain items, reshaping their magical properties through controlled reforging.
