To All Capable, Curious, or Otherwise Bold Individuals of Adventuring Spirit,

It is with great enthusiasm—and only a modest degree of personal peril—that I extend to you an invitation of immense archaeological significance!

This very morn, I uncovered whispers (metaphorical ones, not talking skulls this time) of a treasure buried deep within the stone veins of a forgotten dungeon—a relic of blood, mystery, and mildly ominous energy. Naturally, I intend to retrieve it.

However, due to the regrettable number of times I’ve encountered collapsing ceilings, animated skeletons, and unexpected lava, I find myself in need of… shall we say, companions of sturdy constitution.

Thus, I invite you to meet me on Saturday June 7th at the Duskreach Inn at precisely: 10:00 A.M. Central Time (GMT -5)

There, I shall brief you on our grand endeavor, provide entirely vague historical context, and lead you heroically (from a safe distance) into the depths.

Do bring weapons, courage, and a healthy disregard for personal safety. I shall bring the charm.

Yours in dust, danger, and discovery, Sir Percival Ashby-Hawthorne Explorer of Shadows, Dodger of Falling Rocks, Scholar of Things Best Left Buried

Against all odds (and several gallons of blood), the expedition is a success! The Chalice of Coagulated Kings has been found—along with more screaming than I reasonably budgeted for.

My thanks to all who braved the depths, dodged tentacles, and refrained from stabbing each other until the end. You’ve proven yourselves truly mad… and therefore highly qualified for future work.

Rest well, adventurers. And if the chalice starts whispering to you in your sleep—do try to ignore it.

–Sir Percival Ashby-Hawthorne Explorer, survivor, and newly repulsed by all beverages
